- Lighter, more flexible materials move naturally with your mouth
- Advanced technology ensures proper fit and function
- High-quality acrylics and porcelains mimic the translucency of natural teeth
- Customized color-matching complements skin tone, hair color, and facial features
- Personalized gum tissue appearance looks realistic and natural
The result? Dentures that look so natural that others will think it’s just your own beautiful smile.

If you have received dentures from Dr. Morh or are just curious about how dentures will feel, we are here to help you. Most patients take 2 to 4 weeks to adjust to dentures, while fully adapting takes a few months.
During the adjustment period, you may experience mild soreness, excess saliva, and minor speech changes as your facial muscles and gums learn to adapt. These are all normal parts of the process.
What to Expect When Getting Used to Dentures
Weeks 1 - 2: This is the healing phase, which could be the most challenging as you are retraining your mouth to speak clearly. You might have the sensation of your dentures feeling bulky and loose; this is completely normal as your mouth learns to adjust.
Weeks 3-4: By this stage, you will start to feel more comfortable as your mouth is becoming conditioned to wearing dentures. Chewing will become easier, and you will notice a decrease in discomfort and irritation.
1 month and beyond: You will start to feel more natural with having dentures in, as your mouth adapts to the change, and it becomes a comfortable routine.
When to Contact Us
If you experience persistent pain, sore spots, irritation, and little to no improvement in comfort, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment with us as soon as possible. We can make small adjustments to relieve pressure, reduce discomfort, and improve the fit of your dentures.
